Painan, South Pesisir West Sumatera - The Sports Coaching Education Study Program Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) will carry out the accreditation preparation process on 3-5 May 2024 in Painan, South Pesisir, West Sumatra. This activity is organized as part of the preparation for the expiration of the A accreditation period obtained in the previous period and will expire in 2025. This accreditation is very important to ensure that the study program continues to meet the quality standards set by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The accreditation team consists of ten members who have expertise and experience in the field of sports education. They are Dr. Masrun, M.Kes. AIFO, Prof. Dr. Sayuti Syahara, MS, Naluri Denai, M.Pd., Irfan Oktavianus, M.Pd., Dr. Pringgo Mardesia, S.Pd., M.Pd., M. Arie Desman, M.Pd., Dr. Eko Purnomo S.Or, M.Pd., M.Kom., Muhammad Fakhrur Rozi, M.Pd., Yogi Arnaldo Putra, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Muhammad Vajri Djauhari. The team is tasked with preparing all the necessary documents and data as well as ensuring all academic and non-academic aspects fulfill the accreditation requirements.
This accreditation process will evaluate various important components of the study program, including curriculum, facilities, teaching quality, and student achievement. With careful preparation, the accreditation team hopes to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This in-depth evaluation will assist the study program in designing continuous improvement strategies to achieve and maintain high-quality standards. In preparing for accreditation, the involvement of the entire academic community is crucial. Lecturers, staff, and students work together to compile a comprehensive and accurate self-evaluation report. This report covers various aspects such as academic performance, administrative support, and supporting facilities such as laboratories and libraries. With good collaboration, the accreditation process is expected to run smoothly and successfully.
Universitas Negeri Padang is optimistic that with the hard work and dedication of the entire accreditation team, the S1 Sports Coaching Education study program will successfully maintain its A accreditation. This success will not only enhance the university's reputation but also provide assurance to students and parents that the study program provides quality education capable of producing graduates who are competent and ready to compete in the world of work.
